Definitely one of my most ambitious projects. In 2012 I pitched the idea of a cookbook to restaurant owner and Senate chef Daniel Wright. My vision was not only a book of recipes, but interwoven stories about how he grew up and later met and fell in love with his wife, Lana. I also wanted to create an intimate account of how Senate emerged as one of the first restaurants in Over-the-Rhine.
After a year of intense work copywriting and leading a team of editors, designers and illustrators, I published the book under my own City Stories label. [Click the right arrow for more images.]
